Exercise of the Week: The dumbbell bent over shoulder raises, performed by CEO and coach @mikepro_champion.

According to Mike, bent over raises works the rear/back portion of the shoulder muscles. They are one of the most neglected areas and should be part of any strength training workouts. Developing the rear side of the shoulder helps to improve posture, reduce injuries from heavy pressing movements and supports the rotation of the arms from everyday movements.

Timing: Mike recommends doing this movement with lighter weights focusing on the movement and isolating the muscles.

Weight Selection: 5 to 10 lbs for women and 10 to 30 lbs for men is a good starting point.
